The National Capital Authority (NCA) has received a request from Parsons Brinckerhoff to prepare a Development Control Plan (DCP) for Blocks 1,2,3,4 & 6 Section 19 Griffith. The DCP will guide the future development of the site.

The NCA invites written comments on Draft DCP No. 12/02 from community and stakeholders by 4.00pm 9 March 2012. All responses received will be considered before a decision on Draft DCP No. 12/02 is made by the NCA.

Major engineering works at Scrivener Dam will commence in the new year. The works will be funded within the NCA’s existing capital works budget. To enable an immediate start, several other high priority projects have been deferred.

The Bowen Place crossing upgrade will now recommence in 2014, and the National Capital Exhibition renewal in 2016.

High priority engineering works at Scrivener Dam will commence in the new year. One of the projects to be deferred to fund the cost of the works at Scrivener Dam is the upgrade of Bowen Place crossing.

The Bowen Place crossing upgrade is now scheduled to commence in 2014. If existing funding allows, the National Capital Authority will continue working on the Bowen Place crossing design, and seek the necessary approvals from Parliament so construction can commence as soon as possible.
